Senior actress Meryl Streep is still able to show its light to compete with the talented young actress. Star of 'The Iron Lady' was crowned Best Actress for the movie drama category at the Golden Globe Awards 2012.
Streep, who is now aged 62 years to get rid of a rival who appeared totally Rooney Mara in the movie 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo'. Another rival is Glenn Close in the movie 'Albert Nobbs', Viola Davis 'The Help', and Tilda Swinton through his film 'We Need to Talk About Kevin'.
During his career in acting, Streep has received 27 Golden Globe nominations, and has brought home a total of eight trophies. In his speech when receiving a gift of the Best Actress on Sunday night local time Streep remain humble and praise its rivals.
"It's kind of vibration but it is really, really embarrassing in a year to see so many outstanding performances by its leading lady," he said as reported by The Hollywood Reportr, some time ago.
Golden Globe Awards 69th held at the Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills closed by the victory of 'The Descendants' in the Best Drama category. While 'The Artist' received the most awards with three trophies.
